About this dish
Wine from the malvasía grape grown on Banyalbufar's dry-stone marjades. Exported across Europe from the 16th century, wiped out by phylloxera in 1891 and recovered by a handful of farmers in the 1990s. Made both sweet and dry, in very small quantities.
